Car and Passenger Ferries to Britain and Europe

Being an island nation there used to be only two ways to get into the United Kingdom, by air or by sea. Nowadays however there is also the Channel Tunnel Rail link but more of that later.

Here we will look at the option of entering or leaving the county using on of the ferry routes. You can sail with P&O Ferries from Dover, Portsmouth and Hull to Europe; or Liverpool, Cairnryan and Troon to Ireland.

If you wish to book a ticket and save yourself a packet then click on the P&O advert to the right. You could treat yourself with or if you fancy a little longer time on board then why not have a two-day mini cruise from Hull to Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Bruges or a four day cruise from Portsmouth to Bilbao in Spain.
