Here you will find loads of pictures taken by the webmaster's daughter, Joanna, who is currenlty serving with the RAF stationed at Mount Pleasant Airbase in the Falkland Islands
Joanna pictured above at the Pleasant Peak War Memorial with the Mount Pleasant Airbase in the far distance. She may look cute but this is one tough cookie who is equally happy on a horse or a four wheel drive, dangling from a Helicopter over the ocean in the Antarctic, going to sea with the Navy on HMS Endurance or joining the Army in a Landing Craft. More of all that from the links on the left, and they are not all about Service Life either!
And in case anyone forgets why the British Forces are there or that travelling around the islands is a "piece of cake" then take a look at the sign below...
She may get some stick from the other guys over what I have written here but they will be able to remember who came 4th in the Joint Operations Centre (JOC) Kart Racing! Anyway lets have some of their faces too:
