Historic Description of Little Moreton Hall
An historic description of Little Moreton Hall, a Stately Home or Historic House in Moreton cum Alcumlow, England.
Little Moreton Hall
Little Moreton Hall, or Moreton Old Hall as it sometimes known, is one of the most perfect specimens of black-and-white timbered buildings in Britain (16th century). It stands within a moat and has fine carved gables and Tudor wood and plaster work. Presented to the National Trust by Bishop Abraham in 1938 with furniture and a service of pewter.
