The Green House Community Market Place is new venue in the centre of Letchworth Garden City. Formerly a parade of 9 shops, it has recently been cleared by the Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation to provide an undercover Market Place, solely for trading green goods: i.e, Vintage, Antique, handmade, reused and locally grown.

There are various events planned around this environmentally friendly concept such as Auctions, Produce Market, Collectable Fairs and Flea Markets.

The Green House looks how it sounds, a very high glass roof-quite church like in aspect. It is in the centre of Letchworth, with good parking and refreshments available. It is located close to The Wynd, a quaint and historical row of tiny shops, with the emphasis on Crafts and unique! Letchworth, itself is a great tourist attraction, being the First Garden City in the world and having the very first roundabout EVER!
