Mountnessing Windmill is a traditional post mill built in 1807 and now a Grade II* Listed building which has been restored to its original working condition. Mountnessing Windmill, although no longer in use, is preserved and owned by Essex County Council and is open to the public on the third Sunday of each month May-Oct. 2-5pm.
