The Bovey Tracey Heritage Trust, chariy number 1063070, was formed in 1996 to record, display and preserve the Heritage of Bovey Tracey. The Bovey Tracey Heritage Centre is located in the Old Bovey Station Building which was closed in the 1950s when the use of the railway line from Newton Abbot to Moretonhampstead was discontinued. The Heritage Centre is open from Easter to the end of October, 10 am until noon, and 2 pm to 4 pm on weekdays, 10 am to noon on Saturdays, closed on Sundays, subject to the availability of volunteer stewards. ENTRY and PARKING are FREE, DONATIONS WELCOME.
