Something interesting to do on a rainy day in North Wales, or to get out of the heat for a while!

Airworld Aviation Museum is sited in a lovely sea front location next to Caernarfon Airport on at Dinas Dinlle just outside Caernarfon town centre.
Visitors can sit in the cock pits of the planes on display for a real hands on experience and learn some local history about RAF Llandwrog and the Mountain Rescue Service.

On site there is a well-stocked gift shop selling holiday souvenirs and aviation memorabilia, the airport café, toilets and air viewing area.

The museum is open daily from 10am to 4pm (to 5pm weekends and peak season) from March to the end of October. Group bookings and discounts are by arrangement and there is ample parking available for coaches.

The museum is a charity and run by staff and volunteers.

Along the Dinas Dinlle sea front you will find something for everyone: enjoy beautiful views of Snowdonia, relax on the beach or paddle in the surf on the blue-flag beach, have a snack or meal at the welcoming cafes, or a takeaway from the chip shop and let the kids burn off some energy at the childrens play park. For the more adventurous pleasure flights and lessons are also available at the airport.
