The Information Centre at the Thames Flood Prevention Barrier is open to the public and is ideal for all the family. On display is a working model of the Barrier and a video that shows its construction, operation and how it protects London from flooding. In addition colourful displays explain the wildlife and environment of the River Thames.



The Information Centre also has a cafe that has spectacular views of the Barrier and outside there is a picnic area with play facilities for young children.
