Eastcott Vineyard was established by Hilary and Richard Waller in 2007. Two phase of planting have been carried out and a state of the art winery created on-site. The vineyard lies in a sheltered vale, in a very tranquil area of West Devon. On a sunny day, there is nowhere more peaceful.

Our primary goal is to produce quality sparkling wine, using the traditional method, alongside a range of still wines. Sparkling wine takes up to three years to make, whereas still wine can be ready for drinking in less than a year. Thus it will take several years to build the full product range, with new wines being released every year. Still wines will normally be ready during the summer, with sparkling wines being released around Christmas.

Wine may now be purchased on site and we are licensed daily for off-sales.

Guided tours of the vineyard and winery are available for individuals and groups. The tour takes around and hour and will be led by one of the owners. It includes an explanation of the types of vine and how they are tended, followed by an introduction to the wine making process and a tasting of Eastcott wines.
