Dewsbury Town Hall was opened on September 17 1889 and cost £25,500. Designed by local architects Holtom and Fox, it is an imposing mixed Renaissance style building which overlooks the Market Place and is topped by a clock tower with ornate cupola. Dewsbury Town Hall presents a significant number of concerts and Dewsbury is thought to be the smallest town in the country to host a classical concert season.

The hall can be used for a range of events from small meetings to large public event including concerts and weddings.
Rooms can be equipped with a range of audiovisual equipment.

We also have a license for civil marriage ceremonies!

Our facilities include licensed bar, disabled access and toilet facilities, induction loop available in each room, stage lighting and sound system, technical assistance is available on request and car parking is available near by.

All charges are available on request. Discounts are available to voluntary and community organisations.
