Kilver Court is a beautiful venue located on the outskirts of Shepton Mallet, in the heart of rural Somerset. Kilver Court has much to offer including its Sharpham Park farm Shop which stocks a wealth of seasonal, organic and locally produced produce, including a large range of spelt products from the organic Sharpham Park Estate near Glastonbury. Also on offer is a selection of bakery products including fresh spelt bread and cakes .Much of the produce found in our butchery and deli counter is either organic or local with rare breed meats also from Sharpham Park. Directly off the farm shop leads to the cosy Harlequin Café where some of the farm shops award winning produce are put to use. A seasonal menu inspired by local produce. The café offers both an organic breakfast and lunch menu along with a selection of delicious cakes and organic coffee.

The most exciting feature at Kilver Court is the breathtaking 'Secret Garden'. Until a few years ago Kilver Court was home to the Mulberry Headquarters but has now been developed into this wonderful destination, although the Mulberry factory shop remains just up the road. Kilver Court Gardens are open 362 days of the year to the public. The gardens were first created by Ernest Jardine as a recreational space for the factory workers in the 1800’s. In the 1960’s, they were restored and developed by George Whitelegg to recreate his Gold medal winning Chelsea Flower Show rockery garden. Since then, the Gardens have been a hidden secret for the past 25 years. The Gardens feature a millpond and boating lake as well as rolling lawns, parterre and herbaceous borders. But probably the most staggering feature of this secret garden is the backdrop – a vast Grade II listed viaduct built for the Somerset and Dorset railway in the 1800’s and which now act as a link to the rolling Somerset countryside beyond. In addition, following the success of the vegetable garden at Sharpham Park, Jardine’s concept of model fruit and vegetable cultivation will be reinstated with the establishment of a sustainable bio-dynamic system both for education and to supply organic produce to the Shop and Café. Plants that you will see throughout your walks through the garden are for sale at the entrance, along with other British plants, shrubs and trees.

Kilver court is also home to its own Wellness Centre and Dance Studio. It has much to offer including interactive events and workshops for adults and children, Conference facilities and lending itself as the perfect venue for a Wedding. Kilver Court is a place not to be missed whether it’s for a relaxing day out, classes, treatments or that all important occasion!
