Middlewich

The market town of Middlewich is the second most important of the Cheshire salt towns, and has some modern associated chemical works a good distance from the town. In recent years it has also become a popular place to live and visit being served by not only three rivers but three canals too; the Shropshire Union, the Trent and Mersey, and the Wardle canal.
