The Star Inn 1744 is a newly refurbished 4 star country Hotel Restaurant and Bar. We pride ourselves on providing a high quality of service with great food using local produce and creating a home from home feel. Our 7 en-suite bedrooms have been designed and furnished to boast a feeling of luxury and to provide a high degree of comfort whichever room you choose. We have King Twin Double and Single rooms and can create the option of family suites if desired. A continental breakfast is included with every nights stay.Each room has wireless internet access T.V a complementary beverage tray hairdryer and iron.The restaurant and bar areas have been sensitively refurbished to bring out original features of the building with a few modern and contemporary touches offering a relaxing environment for you to enjoy our four star a-la-carte menu created by our great chef or maybe just a pint of quality local ale. In addition we also have a private dining room which can be used for more intimate events or for business meetings.Free Wi-Fi is available throughout all areas.The Star Inn 1744 is located in the small picturesque Village of Thrussington which boasts beautiful surrounding scenery chocolate box houses and plenty of routes to take a relaxing stroll or a long walk through the rolling fields.We are located just off the A46 which provides direct routes to Leicester (8 miles) Loughborough (12 miles) Notingham and Derby.We are 9 miles from the M1East Midlands Airport is within a 30 minute drive. Birmingham Airport and the NEC can be reached within the hourLocal attractions include numerous quality golf courses you'll be spoilt for choice. The National Space Centre The Great Central Railway is located in Loughborough and then the stunning surroundings of Bradgate Park. Here you can go for walks visit historic ruins or simply enjoy a picnic with the family.
