Lovingly restored and renovated Stapleford Park maintains many of its original features as well as an exceptional range of modern facilities and comforts. Whether basking in the tranquil splendour of the Capability Brown landscaped grounds or engaging in the extensive array of country pursuits guests can look forward to a rich ambience of warmth and friendliness where one is free to indulge in the finest things that life has to offer.Each of the 55 en-suite bedrooms have been individually designed and furnished in a style reflective of their creators with famous names such as Mulberry David Hicks and Crabtree all having contributed to the Hotel's unique appeal. There are also 2 cottages located on the grounds each with a lounge and kitchen area. Whichever guests choose they will enjoy a restful night's sleep and a truly memorable stay. As one would expect from a luxury Hotel all rooms come fully equipped with free Wi-Fi access TV with Sky Channels Egyptian cotton linen bath shower and designer toiletries. Many rooms also feature stunning views of the surrounding grounds and the 18 hole Championship golf course.Dining at Stapleford Park means delicious food and friendly service complemented by the uniquely elegant surroundings of the 2 AA Grinling Gibbons dining room. Committed to creating high quality gourmet cuisine using locally sourced produce and ingredients. The venue itself is richly decorated with 17th Century wood carvings and elegant chandeliers cultivating an atmosphere just as sumptuous as the menu. For more informal dining the House Menu offers a tempting selection of dishes which can be served either on the Terrace in the Lounge or in the Old Kitchen. Alternatively guests can also dine in The Pavilion while overlooking the Championship golf course.The 18 hole Championship golf course at Stapleford Park wraps around the heart of the estate in two extended loops never being more than two holes wide making it unusually spacious and peaceful. Challenging and immaculately maintained it is among one of the finest golf courses in the Midlands. In 2010 and 2011 it hosted the ISPS Handa Senior Masters tours.The luxury Country House Hotel's spectacular Victorian stables have been converted into a 21st Century spa retreat Clarins Gold Spa with 7 unique treatment rooms offering an extensive range of therapies. The converted stable block also houses a fully equipped Technogym and fitness studio. The hotel also has a long history of traditional British field sports such as falconry and shooting. Other activities include tennis target shooting croquet horse riding giant chess and archery. For fun of a less energetic nature the magnificent pool complex features a 22 metre mosaic indoor pool steam room sauna and Jacuzzi. Stapleford Park is located in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside just an 11 minute drive from Melton Mowbray 20 minutes from the A1 30 minutes from Grantham and less than two hours north of London. What's more with free on-site parking it is both convenient and accessible. Grantham Train Station offers excellent transport links to the rest of the country including regular services to Kings Cross there is also a local station at Melton Mowbray. For those flying in East Midlands Airport is roughly a 50 minute drive away whilst the Hotel also has its own helicopter pad.
