He was born at Bilton Grange in 1846, the son of Captain J H Washington Hibbert, of Bilton Grange. Educated at Stoneyhurst College, Lancashire; Captain Warwickshire Yeromanry 1880-90; retired withh Hon. Rank of Major 1890. Justice of the Peace for Northamptonshire, and High Sheriff 1889.
