She married William John Arthur Charles James Cavendish-Bentinck, 6th Duke of Portland (1857-1943) in June 1889. She was Mistress of the Robes to Her Majesty Queen Alexandra 1913-1925. Invested D.B.E in 1935, invested as a Dame of Justice, Order of St John of Jerusalem D.J.St.J
