Rudding Gates apartments nestle quietly behind their dramatic listed entrance in pretty Follifoot village but only three miles from the bustling centre of Harrogate. Deceptively spacious the apartments are furnished with comfort and relaxation in mind interiors and furnishings matched only by the level of customer service and care provided for our guests.Each Gatehouse comfortably accommodates up to four adults in two large and luxurious en-suite bedrooms the en-suites have double ended baths and great showers a spacious and relaxing sittingdining room and a very well-equipped kitchen.TVDVDCDRadio in the three main rooms have sounds through to bathrooms and kitchens free WiFi is available and books and games are provided. Behind the impressive gates our guests find masses of parking space and gardens. Each apartment also has a private walled garden perfect for quiet drinks and al fresco eating. Since their refurbishment and opening as apartments Rudding Gates have been awarded Five Star status by Visit Britain and the AA won the White Rose Self Catering Holiday of the Year award and most recently a coveted Enjoy England Gold Award for exceptional quality of accommodation and outstanding customer service.Rudding Gates service offers our guests a complimentary pre-arrival shopping service help with any arrangements whether travel diningtheatre or surprise treats and a Rudding Gates welcome including fresh flowers OJ milk tea and coffeeThe apartments are in the centre of a pretty Yorkshire village surrounded by beautiful countryside and farmland but only three miles from central Harrogate and within easy reach of York and Leeds. Perfectly located for trips to the Yorkshire Coast Dales and Moors with famous Abbeys Castles and fabulous country gardens and houses between. And of course there are the famous York and wetherby races for those that enjoy a flutter. The climate is Yorkshire's so boots and wellies are advised for country walks and a large umbrella can be found in each apartment just in case! The food is Yorkshires too and guests enjoy the excellent local restaurants locally grown and produced specialities and the regular farmers markets. The shopping in Harrogate is worth a mention too with small designer boutiques and many antique shops to browse around and enjoy. The apartments are well served by public transport and easily found by car there is plenty of private off road parking for all guests. Full written directions and satnav friendly postcodes are provided for guests prior to arrival. A regular bus service provides hourly transport to Harrogate and Leeds and to the nearest major train stations. Local taxi companies pick up from and deliver to the Gates and we are happy to organise or help with any arrival or departure transport.
