The country house in the middle of town - retaining many of its original features and beautifully furnished the Ruskin has great charm and character. Centrally situated in a quiet conservation area the hotel has mature lawned gardens and a private floodlit car park. Built in the mid-nineteenth century and visited by John Ruskin the eminent Victorian art critic author and artist after whom it is named The Ruskin is now an exclusive privately owned family run hotel. Guests staying at the Ruskin hotel have complimentary use of the local health and leisure club a few minute's walk away. Facilities include indoor heated swimming pool spa steam room sauna gym weights room and solarium. Pets allowed in certain rooms on request.
