The Barque Alastor at Shoreham

A large photograph image dated around 1932 of The Barque Alastor at Shoreham, UK.

She was an iron barque built in 1875 by Mounsey & Foster of Sunderland for owner R H Penny& Sons of Shoreham , throughout his ownership the Captain was Thomas Glazebrook. She was on to Norway in 1895.  She is seen here unloading a cargo of wood in the Thames in the 1930's, she was laid up in 1939, became a floating restaurant for a while, being broken up in 1952.
