In January 2011 £M Refurbishments were completed and the hotel became Michelin Recommended THE HOTELThe hotel occupies an idyllic position on the edge of the truly historical medieval village of Bower Hinton in stunning rural South Somerset. Close to the Somerset Levels the Iron Age Ham Hill Country Park and numerous National Trust homes and gardens. ACCOMMODATIONQuite simply thirty-six exceptional rooms and suites contemporary restaurant club style bar and trendy raised wine terrace.The accommodation comprises of mostly Ground Floor Garden Rooms with access to furnished terraces and landscaped gardens .You can choose from a variety of rooms and suites with their own range of facilities. The rooms are modern stylish and have been designed with comfort and space in mind. Cottages are also available for guests wishing to have more independence . RESTAURANTThe restaurant offers a Modern English style menu that is also available in the bar or on the terrace and is complemented by a choice of fifty carefully selected wines. THE BAR and TERRACE400 years after it was built the walk-in fireplace remains in its original condition and main focus of the bar. Sympathetically modernised and furnished with leather armchairs and sofas the club style bar provides a relaxed and casual atmosphere. PARKINGOff road secure parking is available to all guests.
