Historical notes about the Town of Lurgan

Lurgan, (Co. Armagh)

Linen production was the chief industry of this active town, which was founded at the time of the Ulster Plantation by the Brownlow family, ancestors of the present Lord Lurgan, whose handsome residence and beautiful park with fine trees is close by.
