Glyn Ceiriog

Glyn Ceiriog is situated in the lovely Vale of Ceiriog. Here at Pen-y-Bryn was born the Welsh poet, John Ceiriog Hughes (1832-1887). The village institute and library are his national memorial. Old industries included flannel mills and slate mines.

Glyn Ceiriog used to be part of the county of Denbighshire but is now within the county borough of Wrexham
